Tavish Bhattacharyya’s journey in the performing arts began early, with his first stage performance at the age of 10 and hosting the International Children’s Film Festival at just 12. His passion for acting was reignited during his time at Manipal, where he studied Architecture and joined the student theatre group, Dramanon Manipal.

From 2007 onward, Tavish immersed himself in theatre, acting in and directing plays throughout college while collaborating with Dramanon Hyderabad. After earning his B.Arch degree in 2011, he continued to pursue his passion for acting alongside his professional work in Hyderabad. His dedication bore fruit in 2012 when he won Best Actor and Best Play at the AYNA Theatre Festival, solidifying his decision to embrace acting as a full-time career.

In October 2012, Tavish moved to Bangalore to pursue acting professionally with Dramanon Bangalore. Performing at top venues in the city, he also discovered the transformative power of theatre as a tool for corporate engagement and training. His career took a significant leap in 2015 when he was selected from over 8,000 applicants to join the final cast of Disney India’s Beauty and the Beast. This landmark production saw him perform to sold-out audiences in Mumbai and Delhi during its multiple seasons.

After completing his stint with Beauty and the Beast, Tavish relocated to Goa in 2016 to work with The Peas & Carrots Theatre Co. as an Associate Artist. There, he continued acting, staging productions, and conducting workshops. Eventually, he moved back to Mumbai, where he has since established himself as a versatile actor, director, voiceover artist, and musician.
